Well you said it well, and that is exactly what I meant by the system, however, I do believe in God, I am not at all prejudice against anyones beliefs and I never try and push my beliefs on someone else. I appreciate your honest reply and respect your feelings. I do agree totally with your comment on the way the governments are and not to many people realize the truth behind those words. Thanks for your honest reply.
Lavida
You are also right, I wouldn't want to live somewhere else either.
By the way, my son is doing a twenty year sentence for marijuana without guns or violence envolved. I know that seems like I am not saying the whole story but I am, he had no other convictions either. he is in a federal prison and murderers and rapests get less time than he does, that does not make sence to me at all. Unfortunately you can't fight the system.

i am an aetheist, i have faith in nothing. as i said i appreciate your concern. she seems to be doing well and i will visit her soon. i am less pessimistic about the world than you i guess. i think the government is essential evil and it eats up the wealth of hard working people for whatever purpose it deems nessasary. as if the product of our labor is there s to take and give. i think that it also creates pointless regulations and complex legal systems to harass anyone that wants to run any kind of business. i think it sends people off to fight for there country and then tells them the rules of engagement are you cant shoot unless your already getting shot at. and tells them there goal wasnt really to get the people in this place that threaten our country but is really to "spread democracy". even if the people there elect a government that is anti american it was still worth them dying for.

and yet i think this is the greatest country on earth and i wouldnt be willing to live anywhere else, and i believe if you work hard and take responsibility for yourself the rewards you will achieve in this system is endless

Well, it is ok that you would not share my faith, I still feel the pain of sickness. My meaning of this system is exactly that. The whole world and the seemingly unjust environment that we all live in. From the rulership to the victims of all sorts of crime. I have had my share of both. Nothing more was intended.
are you an athiest? Or have you just been discouraged with organised religion? I don't mean to pry into your personal life at all. If you choose not to answer I understand. Forgive me.

thanks. things seem to be ok. the doctors say it just may have been a sudden flare up of the ms. whatever it was it seems to have passed with no obvious long term effects
thanks for your concern sandi

I am sorry your mom has MS, my twin sister has it also and it is so painful for me. I share your pain and wish you strength. I wish I could take it away one day though it is God's promise to make all things new and suffering will be gone. I believe in that and it helps me to get through the heartache of this system.
